Foxy Bingo and Think Bingo sold to Party Gaming Group for 71.9 million pounds

Big news in the bingo world as Reuters news agency reports that UK bingo website operator Cashcade has been sold to the Party Gaming Group for £71.9 million.

According to data from market researcher BingoPort Cashcade is the biggest online bingo business in the UK, with a share of over 20 percent of the market and 2.2 million registered players. This new acquisition now adds Foxy Bingo, Think Bingo and Bingo Scotland to Party Gaming Groups already impressive portfolio of gaming sites.

During a conference call to announce this latest deal PartyGaming Chief Executive Officer Jim Ryan implied that the global online bingo market is projected to grow in size to about $2.5 billion over the next four years.
